"The end of the HIV epidemic can only be achieved when we approach public health with respect for individual freedoms. Equality and respect for the rights of HIV positive people and population groups that are disproportionately affected by HIV are of fundamental importance for a strategic planning to tackle HIV/AIDS in our country. In this light, community initiatives to protect human rights, promote HIV prevention through the creation of a "testing" culture and raise awareness, have a prominent role.”

Community Leadership Messages
“We still have a long way to go in our efforts to combat workplace related stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV. Access to healthcare and access to employment are inextricably linked and as such a meaningful commitment towards stemming the epidemic and securing the wellbeing of all people living with HIV cannot be met without prioritizing ending HIV stigma in the workplace”
“Treatment alone is not sufficient. We must work harder to reduce stigma and discrimination for people living with HIV at workplaces. They have a right to work and no one should deny them that”
